rescuing me first after 60
a holy invitation into yhour next chapter
There comes a moment...
…when life grows quiet enough for you to hear your own heart again.
After years of loving, service, building, praying, crrying, and pouring into everyone else, this is your invitation to sit with God and rediscover the woman He never forgot.
Life has a way of changing quietly.
Children grow up. Careers shift. Parents leave this earth. Friendships change. Dreams get postponed. A husband you loved for decades is suddenly no longer siting across the table.
And almost without realizing it, the woman who has spent her life caring for everyone else looks in the mirror and quietly wonders…
When did I stop caring for me?
Not from resentment. Not from bitterness. But from awakening.
the story behind the journal workbook
This Was Never the Book I Planned to Write.
I sat down with every intention of creating a digital product.
Like many women navigating a significant life transition, I needed to create another source of income. I had ideas, experience, and years of helping others build dreams. I assumed this would simply be my next project.
But when I sat down to write…
nothing came.
The creativity that had always flowed so naturally wasn’t there.
Not because I had run out of ideas.
But because, for the first time in my life, I realized I had poured so much of myself into everyone else that I had very little left to pour into myself.
For decades, I had done what so many women do.
I loved deeply. I served faithfully. I encouraged others. I carried responsibilities. I solved problems. I celebrated the dreams of the people I loved.
I wasn’t keeping score.
I wasn’t looking for recognition.
It was simply the life I had lived.
Then life became quiet.
After the passing of my husband of thirty-six years, I found myself standing in a place I had never stood before.
It wasn’t just grief I was facing.
It was the quiet realization that I no longer knew how to pour into the woman who had spent so many years pouring into everyone else.
There was no bitterness in my heart. No blame. No resentment.
Only an invitation.
As I prayed, the Holy Spirit gently interrupted my plans.
He wasn’t asking me to write the book I thought women needed.
He was inviting me to write the Journal Workbook that I needed.
Then, in the quietness of that moment, He whispered four words that forever changed the course of my life.
Those words were never an invitation to love others less.
They were God’s invitation to finally include myself among the people I had spent a lifetime loving.
As I continued praying through fear, uncertainty, and all the questions that come with a life-changing transition, something else began to happen.
Instead of rehearsing my fears, the Holy Spirit began bringing His Word back to my remembrance.
Scripture after Scripture rose up within me.
Without planning it… without even realizing what was happening… I found myself saying,
The Truth Is…
The Truth Is… God has not forgotten me.
The Truth Is… I am equipped with everything I need for this next season.
The Truth Is… My best days are not behind me.
The Truth Is… God is still writing my story.
Those moments became turning points in my own healing.
They also became the heartbeat of this Journal Workbook.
I didn’t write these pages because I had all the answers.
I wrote them while walking through the journey myself.
Every Scripture… every declaration… every prayer… every reflection… was first ministering to my own heart before it ever reached these pages.
That’s why I don’t believe this Journal Workbook found me by accident.
I believe it was God’s invitation to rescue the woman He had never stopped seeing.
If you’ve found your way here…
perhaps He’s extending that same invitation to you.
My Books
not just a journal
This is a guided companion for your next chapter.
Rescuing Me First After 60™ is not a blank journal and it is not a grief journal. It is a 30-day guided Journal Workbook filled with Scripture, declarations, prayers, prompt action steps, and spacious reflections.
It is not asking you to become someone new. It is gently inviting you back to the woman God has always known.
The Truth Is...
Fear doesn't get the final word.
There was a day I was overwhelmed by doubt and fear. I began to pray, and what came out of me was, “The Truth Is…”
I began to herald Scriptures to quiet my fears. The Holy Spirit arrested me into my breakthrough.
That is why The Truth Is… lives throughout this Journal Workbook. It is not a slogan. It is a declaration born in spiritual warfare, where God’s Word became louder than fear.

WHAT WOMEN ARE SAYING
Women aren’t just reading it. They’re experiencing it.
Your journal met me exactly where I am. It felt like God used your words to reawaken something that had been resting quietly inside me… everything carries such a tangible peace and power.
This journal is more than ink on paper; it’s her prayer made tangible… every Scripture, every declaration, and every prompt is wrapped in love and honesty.
Every reflection feels like an open door to a new room in the soul. It is biblically sound, emotionally rich, and spiritually grounded.
This journal became a personal altar — a quiet sanctuary for peace and renewal.

Why is it called Rescuing Me First After 60?
Because that’s when my own awakening happened.
After decades of loving, serving, building, and caring for others, God gently invited me into a new season of caring for the woman He had entrusted to me.
That moment happened after sixty for me. Your awakening may come much earlier… or much later.
This Journal Workbook isn’t defined by age. It’s defined by the moment you recognize God is inviting you into a new chapter of your life.
If these pages speak to your heart, they were written for you.
